# Privacy Policy

## 1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy outlines how Hydrify ("the Bot") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the Bot, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

## 2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

* User Data:
  * Discord User ID: Your unique Discord identifier.
  * Verification Status: A Boolean value indicating whether you have successfully completed the age verification process.
  * Verification Timestamp: The date and time of your successful verification.
* Server Data:
  * Discord Guild (Server) ID: The unique identifier of the server where the Bot is used.
  * Configuration Settings: Server-specific settings such as the ID of the role to be assigned upon verification, the log channel ID, and other preferences.
* Transactional Data:
  * Subscription Information: For servers with active subscriptions, we store the subscription status and renewal date.
  * Transaction History: We maintain a record of credits purchased for verification purposes.

## 3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

* To provide the core functionality of the Bot, including age verification and role management.
* To maintain and improve the Bot's services.
* To provide support to users and server administrators.
* To comply with legal obligations.

## 4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

**Stripe Identity Services:** We use Stripe Identity for age and identity verification. Stripe collects and processes personal data (such as full name, date of birth, sex/gender, address, and identity document images) when you complete a verification flow. Stripe may also collect metadata and device information as part of its verification and fraud detection systems.

**Roles and Responsibilities:** Hydrify and Stripe are independent data controllers with respect to identity verification data. Stripe processes verification data under its own privacy policy, and we process limited verification status and metadata as described elsewhere in this policy. Stripe may share collected data with trusted service providers or verification databases to perform identity checks.

**Hydrify Access:** Authorized personnel may view identity data in the Stripe Dashboard for support, compliance, or fraud prevention purposes. Hydrify does not export, store, or reuse identity documents or sensitive personal data outside of Stripe.

**Data Subject Rights:** You may exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion, objection) with respect to Hydrify-processed data by contacting us. For data processed by Stripe, refer to Stripe’s privacy policy at <https://stripe.com/privacy>, which explains how to submit requests to Stripe and the process Stripe follows.

**Consent and Alternatives:** By using the verification feature, you consent to both Stripe and Hydrify processing your data for identity verification. If you do not consent to Stripe Identity, you may choose not to complete the verification process (and thus not use the verification service).

**International Transfers:** Stripe may transfer and process personal data outside your jurisdiction where Stripe or its service providers operate.

## 5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our policies.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your data is stored in a secure database, and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
